Barkan Chardonnay 2007
Barkan is a nice solid winery. Their lower-cost wines tend to be quite the bargain, and their higher-end wines tend to be quite good.
I don't quite know what to make of this Chardonnay. The body was very, very light; the flavors promised on the label were perhaps beyond my palate to detect. This wine was certainly not bad, but it did not deliver on its promises and as such I felt disappointed.
Perhaps I'll try a different vintage or a different bottle, but in the meantime I cannot rate this wine very highly.
