Ignore the label on this wine! It is not "full bodied," and it might not be suitable for red meats. Even so, it is an excellent wine.
This wine absolutely must have a few minutes to breath; just ten minutes will do, but you must take the time or you will be disappointed. If you wait, you will be rewarded with a perfect example of a soft, light bodied wine, with a bit of tangy finish, a good taste of grape, and an unusual flavor.
The wine did well with poultry, but might not stand up to heavily-flavored red meats.
I suspect that this wine may well become one of my favorites. (Note: As of June 2006, I no longer consider this vintage reliable, as it seems to be past its prime. At this point, I would not consider vintages more than three years old.)
