This is an Italian sparkling wine. Unlike most sparkling wines, it's sweet. The wine is not too cloying; but it doesn't have much bite, and the flavor is not exceptional.
In all, this is a drinkable wine for those occassions that call for sparkling wine, and you wish to accomodate someone who prefers sweet wines.
