The Kosher Wine Review

Terroso

Merlot 2003

Rating: 4

On my first sip I noticed a distinct and very pleasant taste of plums. The wine is a deep, satisfying red, has a nice full body, is robust enough to stand up to strongly flavored turkey, and in all a very satisfying glass of wine.

I recommend that you stand this bottle upright a day before opening it, if possible, to allow the sediment to collect at the bottom. And more so than other merlots in this age group, the wine needs a decent amount of air to fully develop its flavors, so open it a full hour before serving.
