The Kosher Wine Review

Rothberg Cellars

Shiraz 2004

Rating: 3

This wine started with a burst of flowery notes; but by the time I reached the second glass, the aroma was gone. The wine is good; we had it with sweets, but that's almost certainly not the best way to enjoy it, because it had the lighter dryness that I associate with Shiraz.

The bottle claims the wine will age well over the next 5 to 10 years. Certainly it would be interesting to return to this wine at some later date.
