I reviewed a wine from the Eshkol winery a while back, the same winery that makes this wine, but can't quite remember why I did not include the the Rothberg Cellars name. Perhaps it was slightly different? This wine is 13% alchool as opposed to the 13.5% in the prior review.
This wine is a Pinotage, which is a hybrid of Pinot Noir and Hermitage grapes developed in South Africa. The wine has a slight cherry overtone, which I like, and is nice and very dry.
This is a very enjoyable wine and a nice alternative to standard Pinot Noir.
