The Kosher Wine Review

Roberto Cohen

Fleurie 2001

Rating: 4

This was a very nice Beaujolais; I hadn't really paid attention to the fact that it was a Beaujolais until I opened the bottle, and then the distinct Beaujolais taste, lighter body and more flowery/fruity nose was very noticeable. Fleurie is the most expensive of the Beaujolais Cru. We used this bottle for the first two cups of the seder, a good choice.
