Like other wines from France, this wine surprises people who think dry wine must be deep red and have an edge. This is a true Burgundy wine, with the characteristic garnet color. I found the body to be light and the flavor quite delightful -- again a nice surprise to those who expect all wines to taste like Cabernet Sauvignon.
Surprisingly, the wine is mevushal, which makes it an excellent choice for a gift.
