Ever since Tirosh vanished from the Chicago market, I've been looking for a replacement light, sweet wine that tasted as if it were made from grapes. Ohra Kal ("kal" means "light" in Hebrew) is the first light, sweet wine that I've tasted that is acceptable.
Although the wine is still too sweet for me, it's very light-bodied and very low (3.5%) in alcohol. I recommend this wine for the Passover seder for anyone who prefers sweet wine and isn't concerned about drinking a "fine" wine: Ohra Kal is light, sweet, red, and low in alcohol — which will leave you with a clear head for the seder.
