The Kosher Wine Review

Eshkol

Pinotage 2004

Rating: 4

This wine is not a Pinot Noir. It's a Pinotage, which is a hybrid of Pinot Noir and Hermitage grapes developed in South Africa.

The result is a very nice wine that has the hints of black cherry I expect, but with a fine character all its own. The wine is medium bodied, and goes nicely with a meat meal.
