Etienne Bailly Beaujolais-Villages 1999

This is a typical Beaujolais-Villages wine. It's actually a rather good one, and I believe that I now prefer it over the Abarbanel. The Abarbanel Beaujolais-Villages, for all that it has been excellent in the past, is overpoweringly berry; this Beaujolias-Villages ("a Herzog selection") is much less so and is more enjoyable as a wine.
