Although Roberto Cohen makes some good wines at low prices, I'm afraid this isn't one of them. My two fellow tasters both complained of the mouth of this wine, a strange reaction.
Although I found the wine inoffensive, I didn't find much to commend it -- no noticeable nose or flavor. I was disappointed that it lacked the signature Bordeaux maturity and color that I've come to expect from Roberto Cohen wines.
The bottle comes with a gorgeous label on one side. On the other side, there's a slapdash label that invites us to try the wine for weeknights, or with "a Burger." It's an odd contrast.
