There's quite a blend of different grapes in this wine: Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, and Rufete -- I freely admit that I'm not familiar with any of them. For all that, I didn't notice any distinctive taste for this wine; while it was an decent bottle of wine, I didn't taste anything particuarly exotic.
I suspect, given how it aged, that this wine might benefit from a year or two in the bottle. Otherwise, it's a perfectly acceptable wine, but not particularly top-notch.
